DESCRIPTION:If everyone sees themselves as victims\, there will be no way 
 to achieve reconciliation and take responsibility. The widespread victim 
 narratives that have been practised for centuries only lead to the other 
 always being seen as the enemy and the world being divided into &lsquo\;u
 s and them&rsquo\;. The Near East School of Theology in Beirut\, Lebanon\
 , is a theological academic institution that is actively involved in inte
 rfaith dialogue between Christians and Muslims. Together with a delegatio
 n from Lebanon and ecumenical representatives from Germany we will discus
 s how it is possible to overcome the self-image of being a victim and to 
 engage in dialogue.\nWie lässt sich das Freund-Feind-Denken zwischen Chri
 sten und Muslimen im Nahen Osten überwinden? Zusammen mit einer Delegatio
 n aus dem Libanon und ökumenischen Vertreter/innen aus Deutschland suchen
  wir nach neuen Selbstbildern beider Religionen jenseits von Stereotypen
